I have an overly active mind sometimes, and I don’t seem to be happy unless I am busy doing something, or thinking about doing something! My September / October has been pretty quiet .. SO, I figured, what can I challenge myself to do? I set my mind on celebrating the wondrous colours of autumn, by making a wall hanging ONLY from foraged things from our garden, and our local park. I’d originally hoped to get the kids involved in making it too. But rather than use up all my energy in motivating them (lets keep it real here, its a battle getting them off their screens, isn’t it?!), I just made it on my own without their help! . Pinterest was the place I started to look for inspiration. Here is a link to my AUTUMN Pinterest board. That, along with all the amazing florists that I am always inspired by, at weddings..
So here, here is my wee celebration of Autumn .. the wall hanging just made from bits of foraged leaves, branches and twigs. Ribbon and wire I found at home. I am pretty sure that I bought the little vase that the larger candle is in, in our local charity shop. .. and the squashes – the wee green yellow one came from Lidil and the larger orange one came from Balgove Larder 😀
