I had received an email from Polly, early in springtime, enquiring on whether I could get involved in a project with them. Documenting a bit of their lifestyle and business. We chatted on the phone, about the kinds of things they had in mind, little did I know, that when I was to visit them in person, how completely I would fall head over heels with where they live, who they are, and what they do. Hearing their stories about their children growing up, exploring the woodland that their house over looks, and the little wooden tree house perched on a nearby branch. All the hard work, time, passion and creativity that they have poured into their business. It was enchanting, truly.
This first blog post documents my first visit to see Polly & Callum, their own personal kitchen, and their workshop where Callum and Cameron craft all the kitchen furniture. Followed by my wee trip to the field behind the house, where Poly keeps her bees (that were swarming as we approached!).
