Festival themed wedding, in a field somewhere in Fife you say? Oh yes indeedy….this is what this blog post is ALL about 😀
FEAST YA EYES ON THIS!!
We had such a hoot. Jenna and Billy had SO much going on at their wedding. The laughter and giggles began at Jenna’s sister’s house were everyone was getting ready. Jenna & Billy were really keen to have their wedding ceremony outside, in the grounds of the church, but as the ceremony time approached, it was clear that the rain wasn’t going to let up.. and you know what, it turned out for the best. I think we had the best of both worlds. Straight afterwards everyone joined J&B outside for a short ceremony .. it was lovely 🙂
Then it was onwards to meet a friend, a farmer friend no less, who had organised a wee horse and carriage trip for the newly weds… HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! ! When we arrived, we were greeted with an explosion of amazingness. a huge group of marques had been set up in Jenna’s families’s field…and a rainbow, we had lots of rainbow awesomeness going on more than once, fantastical (I’d like to say that there were actual unicorns and things too, but I feel I might be pushing the boundaries of credibility a wee bit there?).
Jenna and Billy had a mini shooting range, horse and carriage, very cool wedding signage and LOTS of marques – filled with furniture that Jenna had sourced cheaply from auctions, tables over flowed with delious tasting food (er by that I mean it looked delicious, not that I went about trying it all … ). Cakes made by friends, a photo booth that Jenna had organised, with very cool props. Even the wee damaged tree that had been saved from a roadside, and replanted, that too was dressed up all smartly, showing off its little twinkly lights, when the sunlight faded ..
If awards could be given out for the best facial expressions made by bridesmaids catching the bouquet … Arleen, my love, you would win it #bestbouquetcatchfaceever! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
