Its Mothers Day, and this is an unashamedly long blog post. Yes, yes it is! A celebration of love, families and friendship. It also comes with a confession that I welled up and shed a few tears. The moment when Dave’s Mum congratulated him for the first time as a married man. Ahhhh xx
Lucy and Dave chose to get married in St Andrews, at St Salvator’s Chapel, followed by their reception at Kinkell Byre. I am lucky enough to have a few couples book me for their weddings in St Andrews, at St Salvator’ s and Kinkell. I LOVE IT! It never gets old, it never feels samey, I get to see couples, their families and friends celebrate their weddings in their own unique way – and thats always something that I love about weddings, love about being a wedding photographer.
Lucy & Dave’s day was filled with laughter and fun the whole day long, it was so so lovely. This was the first time I’d had the chance to work along side the Be Eventful team – they are fantastical, lots of fun and really kept things running so smoothly all day long – looking forward to the next time we have the chance to work together girls x
*NEW FOOD CRUSH ALERT* (is that actually a thing? No? LETS MAKE IT ONE NOW!!) OH MY WORD (more shouty caps lock, I know!) I can’t big up Wild Rover Food enough… when I rocked up at Kinkell I nipped into the back to say hi to the team of people there.. and was greeted by the sight of a LandRover in the back room – AMAZING! A Fife based team, who prepare fresh, wild, local, sustainable food from their converted Landy – genius, ticks all the green boxes and wooooah their food is blooming delicious! Check them out here !
