What do you get when you have a beautiful, loved up couple, who plan their Wedding, with the most amazing attention to detail…who want something a little bit different…A wedding ceremony in an ancient historic church, followed by a wedding reception in a Michelin Star Restaurant, and a celebrity chef to boot.
And just to add to the fantasticallness of the day we had the power of two… yes, double Zoes – no, I’m not loosing my mind, ….I was delighted to have Zoe Campbell Photography there, 2nd shooting with me on the day too – she was fantastic, capturing so many elements of the day – including, some of the details – little jars of breadsticks with yellow ribbons and the personalised hand-warmers, and of course all the shots of Alex and his entourage at the Church, whilst I was with Esme getting ready.
I’m delighted to be introducing the most dashing Alex and the stunning Esme…this is their Wedding day….
The Wedding Ceremony – Seton Collegiate Church – there is loads of fantastic historical info over there on that link 🙂
Can you spot the amazing hand carved signs that Alex’s Dad made for the occasion …
The weather is always unpredictable, especially in Scotland – and some days are really soggy drizzly ones .. this was one such day – with the formal shots being taken under shelter of trees, and all the plans to have photos taken in the beautiful grounds around the church out the window – but you know, it didn’t spoil the atmosphere one single bit …. and it actually added an extra special element to the evening shots, that you will see later!
Good bye to Collegiate Church…Hello to The Kitchin ! Your mouth will water … you have been warned!! 🙂
I feel that there should be a special mention to the staff at The Kitchin – they were so warm, friendly, and so enthusiastic about Esme & Alex’s Wedding Day – it really added to the whole experience. It was lovely meeting you all.
After the evening dance, we headed off outside to make the most of the rain and the floodlights (thanks Zo for spotting those!)

Zoe, your photography is fantastic. Too many stunning shots to mention, but I do love the early one of Esme in the doorway and the last few in the rain. And what a stunning wedding, beautiful details, not to mention a gorgeous couple. Esme and Alex must be thrilled. Greaaaat job!
Ooh thank you ever so much Thomas x
