One of the many, many things I absolutely love about being a photographer .. and in particular a wedding photographer.. is the chance to spend time with THE most wonderful people. I genuinely love the fact that I get to hang out with all these wonderful couples, and their family and friends on such an important day. When I had a wee getting to know you chat over Skype, kinda a necessity as Richa & Naro live in America! I felt like I could have happily talked for hours, I loved getting to know them. I really like to be able to do this with every couple, whether they decide to go ahead and book me after that, or not. I place so much importance in that, before everything else. I really feel that all the other things will fall into place. If a couple feel happy and relaxed with me, the photos will reflect that. I think its one of the reasons why I often have guests ask me how long I’ve known the couple, when we chat on a wedding day! I like to keep things as easy going, and informal as possible!
This was certainly the case, and then some, with Richa and Naro. It really was a joy being a part of their day. I don’t normally share photos of formal group shots, but. I really wanted to show have wonderful, and versatile Cambo House is. There are so many different spaces to enjoy at Cambo – and I just love the Courtyard for that, it has large light spaces, with windows above, that let in nice diffused light. Check out down this blog post to see one of the formal shots I took.
I find this so hard to right this, without sounding like I am churning out a whole lot of cliques, but I genuinely LOVED sharing the day with everyone. If you want to find out more about my photography style, and want to chat more about your wedding plans, do get in touch!
