HELLO!

…I’m Zöe
If you’re thinking about hiring me as your photographer, you probably want to know a bit about who I am.
I’m a pretty nostalgic kind of person, and photos are a huge part of that. For me, photography allows you to go back to those moments, reliving how they made you feel. That’s the power of photography ~ its priceless.
A LITTLE
BIT ABOUT ME
My husband and I both grew up in Fife. But thats not how we met, we have our own rather interesting love story! A mutual friend set us up on a blind date, when we both happened to be living in Oxfordshire. We got married in St Andrews. At the same time as the Kate Kennedy Procession was going, hence this slightly bizarre group photo >>

Fast Forward a few years .. this is us returning to St Salvators, in St Andrews. for our wedding anniversary >>>

I have a great love of my family.. and coffee …. a double expresso is my daily fuel, whats yours?? >>

Head in the clouds, feet on the ground..
Thats how a relative described me once, when I was a kid. And in truth, I don’t think much has changed.
I love getting swept up in moments, lost in day dreams and possibilities, chasing pretty light, distracted by anything and everything but am also pretty down to earth. What does that mean for my approach to photography? I know, what the heck are you talking about Zoe??
Well, it’s given me a life long love of people, learning about their life stories. Seeing families spend time together on a wedding day, and watching people in their workplace, sharing their love for what they do too.
I’m a creative problem solver. Giving me the ability to think quickly on my feet – often a handy skill as a photographer, when unpredictable things happen!
I have a B.A. Degree in Community Education, (yep, another people orientated role!). Leading onto a career supporting people with additional support needs and autism. I’m a self taught photographer, and been running this ‘lil ol business of mine for the past 15+ years. Because I am passionate, focused, and care about you and your experience. I give everything my all. Which is a huge benefit during our sessions, because I get so immersed in your experiences, allowing me to fully document those life moments that define you.
I’m a sentimental soul
I get rather nostalgic, looking back at old photos – and this cinefilm from the 1970’s. Yeah Baby! … cough, er and yes, that IS me on the front of that that classic 1970’s chopper, with my Dad!
Family

We have three kids – two of them are grown up adults (what the… I know, how?) and our youngest is a teenager! They aren’t all that keen on getting their photo taken any more …
