In June this year, I joined Lauren & Finlay with nearly 150 of their friends and family to celebrate their wedding day. And, oh.. what a celebration it was. Finlay is a Major of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, and after the beautiful ceremony in St James Catholic Church there was a Guard of Honour! An impressive sight to behold.
The wedding continued along at Kinkell Byre. Which is a wonderful venue, that sits just on the outskirts of St Andrews. In good weather, you get the most lovely views of the town, and the sea, right from the venue. One of my lasting memories of the day (bear with me because its not an obvious one!) Was seeing Finlay’s face, when Lauren gifted him with a pair of lighting up USB trainers – something Finlay had apparently been wanting for a very, very long time! You can see him wearing them on the dance floor in the evening shots! My other favourite moment from their day, was seeing Lauren running barefoot. Lauren is an amazing yoga teacher , who holds the most incredible looking retreats, you can see more on her IG feed HERE and whilst we are talking about Instagram .. Finlay’s feed is also worth checking out too, he is a Cross Fit Trainer.
