This year I’ve set myself the challenge of taking more portraits with my film cameras, and what better opportunity than the Grand Opening of Lindores Abbey Distillery? As I was there in an official capacity, taking some photos of the big event, I also jumped at the chance to shoot some frames on film with my old Rolleiflex (that dates from 1956, no less).
The wonderful author, Ian Rankin was there at the launch, and he was kind enough to let me take a couple of portraits with my old camera. Thank you so much Ian! As you will see below, I also captured some of the Team on film including Tim, an Apothecary in the newly opened distillery . You can read more about the official launch here.
I’m pretty delighted with the results ~ the next time (because, the creative mind is hardly ever completely satisfied with their results) I’ll be using my close up lens, and getting a bit more confident and nearer for portraits!
