Lower & Upper College Halls St Andrews, Lyndsey & Stuart

Delicate sea breezes .. soft pastel blooms .. and before all that .. so much love and laughter .. and lots of dancing . These are the things I remember the most about joining Lyndsey & Stuart on their wedding day, in St Andrews. That .. and um .. and cleaning out the wet sand in Lyndsey’s gown, all huddled under the hand drier in the ladies loo’s !! (see pic further down the page!)  … Thank you both, for trusting me, to going with the flow! Thank you for including me and making me feel like one of your friends, and for the wee dance in the evening before I left! BIG love and congratulations to you both.

Here’s what Lyndsey had to say: (thank you my lovely xx)
“If you are thinking of booking zoe as your wedding photographer – DO IT!!! Zoe is one of the most lovely, wonderfully talented lady you’ll ever meet. We knew we wanted to book her as our wedding photographer before we had set a date or even chosen a venue for our wedding (I had followed her on Instagram after seeing some of her work in rock my wedding and love my dress) and luckily she had our date free.

We didn’t meet zoe in person before the wedding day as we married in Scotland but live in south England. However we did Skype Zoe a few times to plan in the run up. She always made a lot of time for us, through both emails and skype, which we really appreciated considering the distance we planned our wedding from. After our first Skype we knew we didn’t need to look for anyone else.

On the wedding day itself I expected a wedding photographer to show up, but what I got was so much more. Zoe instantly clicked with myself and bridesmaids and it just felt like another friend had joined us on the big day. She was an extremely calming influence throughout the whole day and made sure we had the best day we could have.

Regarding the photos themselves we had an absolute laugh and she managed to snap a lot of absolutely gorgeous relaxed images of family, guests and ourselves on the day despite the two of us being terrible at doing “posed photos” zoe still managed to bring out the best in us.

Zoe also gave us a beautiful highlights video which we enjoyed whilst awaiting the full album and was a lovely touch to keep the excitment of the wedding up when the day itself has passed. In our contract Zoe had promised a minimum of 350 images, we actually received over 800 which shows how hard zoe worked all day. She literally barely stopped until we insisted she join us on the dance floor – which she happily agreed to!

On top of this, zoe also managed to snap some beautiful photos on real film. These were just lovely, and added a really special element to our photography. Some of my favourite images from the whole day were shot on film and it was just lovely to be able to show guests and family some photos on the actual day.

I couldn’t say good enough things about Zoe, we will be forever grateful that we booked her our photographer and be thankful for the images she captured of our day.”
