Ahhh – Mairead & Andy… this is their wedding day.
I first met Mairead and Andy on the banks of Loch Leven for a rather fun photoshoot that featured several swarms of midges who were also enjoying the afternoon sunshine on the lochside!
I had been recomended by one of Mairead’s collegues, Esme (who was married here.. hast year) I utterly love meeting couples this way – because for me, thats what its all about – having that connection and relationship with people.
Mairead and Andy’s are two beautiful amazing people, who are so warm and welcoming. Not only was it their wedding day, but also Andy’s Granddad’s 90th birthday on the very same day – I proper celebration all round!
We we ever so lucky with the weather that day. The whole of Edinburgh beneath us, glistened in the sunshine as we walked around Carlton Hill. It was just glorious – and so lovely seeing Mairead and Andy having strangers stop to wish them well on their wedding day. It was lovely to have so much time together with them, to get some really fantastic moments – making the most of the gorgeous city views.
