I turned 39 in April…. we had a wee celebration, and I got to have some of my fav Simnnel Cake – it reminds me of my Grandyma, she used to make the most amazing Easter Cakes.

Remember the heatwave in the summer? I know, its hard when we have all those blustery storms right now!
Well, in the summer, our family of five, (as in Andy, myself and the kids) met up with my parents and headed off for the trip of a life time to Shetland. It is SUCH a beautiful place – here is a wee taster, I plan to do a proper blog post on it sometime soon, to do the place justice!
