I’m going to start out by saying that I’ve been shooting weddings for the last 10 years, and I believe that its good working practice to be respectful of people’s privacy. This page explains in detail how I, Photos by Zöe, actually makes this happen!

This page explains how Photos by Zöe is compliant with the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations ) Policy, which comes into play from the 25th May 2018. This Policy page will be updated from time to time, so please check for any recent changes!

I request and collect personal data from you thats necessary for me to run my photography business. Its basically nothing more than your names / email / mobile phone number, at enquiry stage. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by you, and it is stored for the purpose of establishing communication  – In other words, I will reply to your email using the email address and data you have provided, in order to answer your enquiry!

Please note, I require personal data (i.e: names, full postal address, phone numbers AND contact numbers from YOU the couple) I also need the mobile phone numbers  of a couple of key people who will be attending your wedding, when we enter into a contract together. This again is to ensure that I can actually turn up to your wedding, and that I know who I would need to get in touch with, should I need to on a wedding day.

When your wedding date approaches, I ask you to complete a wedding questionnaire. You access that through a secure site, and the information you provide me with is securely stored through that website. I ask you for wedding day details. I also ask you for your current postal address, so that I can send you something in the post afterwards. Apart from me, and the postal staff involved in your delivery.. no one else will have access to the address you provide me with. I explain all this on the form before you provide me with this information!

Any additional personal data that would be requested, would be for instance, if you choose to order a wedding album through me, I need to pass on your email address, mobile phone and postal address details to Folio Albums, in order for them to proceed with your wedding album order. (Folio Albums are GDPR compliant).
