Its the start of a New Year .. and I’ve made the decision to carry on with my plan to blog my 2017 weddings! So here we are, welcome to Rachel & Andy’s day… IT rained .. A LOT !! It made the day all the more memorable. Seeing people diving about, rushing hastily huddled under umbrellas. All the more romantic if you ask me! It was wonderful working alongside the team at Myres Castle, The Made up Team, Lazy Sunday catering AND Blue Poppy Florist (check out the links below!).
Here are Rachel’s lovely comments (thank you xx) “
“Zoe was our photographer for our wedding 3 weeks ago. She had been recommended to us by my sister who being a fellow artist had followed Zoe on Facebook for a few years. I took a look through her photographs and was so impressed that we didn’t really consider another photographer at all. At first I thought Zoe’s fee was a little on the expensive side. However, I would say that she is 100% worth it. First of all, Zoe is such a lovely person, and our dealings with her have been fun and reassuring. You can tell that she loves what she does, which makes such a difference when working with her. Despite having not met Zoe until the day of our wedding, I felt like I already knew her as we held a couple of Skype calls to discuss details in the run up to our big day and she’s so warm and friendly that it actually felt like she was one of our guests who happened to be taking loads of photos. To top it all off, she is a phenomenally talented photographer – we’ve not yet seen all the pictures from our wedding, but with the preview selection already available, I am so impressed. She had a couple of useless subjects in me and my hubby but she made us feel at ease and helped direct us to take a good mixture of candid photos and some partially staged. We also didn’t have the best of luck with the weather on our day so we did our best to take some outdoor snaps but had to retreat when the rain picked up. Zoe was kind enough to hang around and came back out with us later in the evening to take some more photos in the lovely grounds at the venue. She has a wonderful ability to capture magical moments, and really skilled at using light to her advantage. One of the photos she took almost looks like an oil painting…it is so beautiful! I believe that while there are many photographers who will take some nice photos, Zoe is one who has a real artistic eye. You can see for yourself in her photos here, and I would recommend her in a flash. Thank you Zoe!”
