I feel enormously grateful and honoured to every couple who book me as their wedding photographer. None more so than when its a couple who I’ve met before at a past wedding. In this instant, I had met Roisin back in 2014, at her sister, Katy (& Omar’s) wedding. It really was wonderful to be asking to rejoin the Barr family to be Roisin & Shane’s wedding photographer. Much had happened since I had last seen them. I have to start with the new DISCO SHED!! That was specially created for the weekend of celebrations! Check out Roisin’s gold shoes, fitting in perfectly in the spangly shed! I love it!
Another wonderful thing about R&S’s wedding was that Roisin’s Dad, Mervyn Barr, had become a humanist wedding celebrant and conducted the ceremony, making it really extra special! You can find out more about Meryn HERE and HERE. It was my first time visiting The Barn at Barra Castle.. my goodness! WHAT A VENUE!!!! Custom built, with lots of thought into how the space can be used creatively. I loved it.
It was really moving hearing Shane’s son give a speech, it got everyone in all emotional! What a day. Roisin, Shane, THANK YOU so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. It really truly was wonderful sharing such a joyous day with you all.
