I have my first wedding at The Cowshed, just before Christmas, and I decided to get in touch with them to see if I could have a wee look around the place beforehand. I don’t normally ask for a pre-wedding visit, as I think its really important as a wedding photographer, to be able to think on your feet. Working with what ever is happening in the moment. Wether that be, making the best of poor light, or awful weather. Or searching out disappearing guests (when you are trying to get the formal group shots taken). But this time, I really felt that a wee trip along to see the place before I shoot there, was important so that I can make the most of the daylight. I have to say, I am SUPER excited about getting the chance to return for the wedding later this month. Its going to be AMAZING! I LOVED the light airiness of the place, I LOVED all the rustic textures, love love love!! 🌿
