Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get married in Anstruther? Well, thats where Annwen & Donncha were married .. and goodness gracious ..ahhhhh seaside, sunshine, little fishing boats, a beautiful townhall .. and er, quite a few seagulls .. and a lovely pink sunset to finish it all .. Well, that and being surrounded by family and friends who have traveled the globe to be there on your wedding day. All of these things and more happened on Annwen & Donncha’s wedding day.

Annwen & Donncha were really keen to have some photos taken with my old Rolleiflex camera, and I was MORE than happy to oblige! These were shot on Ilford HP5 and Portra 400 🙂
Both and Annwen and Donncha had rented holiday cottage apartments in the centre of the town, infact in the same building! So it made it really easy for me to be able to get some time to get some photos of both of them, and their families on the morning of their wedding. I really loved that wonderful spiral staircase that swept the right up the length and the building, AND that dimly lit corridor with a mysterious door at the very top .. It was like the scene from the beginning of a novel! Back to the wedding .. We made the most of the location of their wedding venue – the Town Hall is situated right in the middle of the town, which made it the perfect place to nip out and get some couple portraits, watching the sunset, over the sea. Oh, and all the live music that was played .. both Annwen & Donncha have talented musicians in the family!
